Getting There & Logistics

Many of Snowdon’s paths are easily reached using public transport from Lodge Dinorwig. The S3 Sherpa bus stops right outside the hostel and can drop you at the Rhyd Ddu Path or the Ranger Path, making these quieter routes simple to access.

You can walk down to Llanberis village and start the Llanberis Path or catch a Sherpa bus to Pen-y-Pass, the starting point for the Pyg Track and Miners’ Track. From Pen-y-Pass, you can also connect by bus to the Watkins Path, which makes it easy to plan a loop rather than retracing your steps.
